I WRITE, SUPERNATURAL FICTION mostly, and wanted to research book reviewers. I found websites listing lists of reviewers who review the sorts of things I write about, reading the lists was like poking a dinner fork into a wall socket—I was shocked.

 

Turns out, some of these “book reviewers” advertise on these lists that they will not accept books by gays or about gays. The person who assembled the list doesn’t seem to be offended by some of these reviewers' discriminatory practices, but I am. And why wouldn’t I be, the policy is as vicious as if they’d announced “No Jew Books” or “Blacks Need Not Write.”
